Alenka von Engelhardt

Originating from Sydney, Australia and currently residing near Hamburg, Germany, Alenka von Engelhardt is an artist whose practice consists of joyful abstract paintings, where the interplay of colours, shapes, and their intricate relationships narrates compelling stories.Alenka's artistic journey is a testament to her dedication to crafting original pieces that seamlessly integrate into contemporary modern interior design.

After gaining recent recognition for my colour technique with the widely acclaimed dip-dye candles for clients all over Europe, I returned to my roots as a painter, in which I cultivated my skills at the National Art School in Australia in the early 2000s. My artistic perspective focuses on a passion for design and lifestyle products, in which I have worked for many design labels over my career.

Alenka has been featured in Vanity Fair UK Magazine, FLOW Magazine Germany, and Artist Close Up Europe.
