Panels can be used directly for crafts, pouring, encaustic, and pyrography. For painting and mixed media, we strongly recommend sealing and priming first. Sealing and priming not only improve how the surface accepts paint and other media, but they also help prevent yellowing over time from support-induced discoloration (SID), ensuring artwork lasts.
